A downloadable game
On July 27th, 2019, one of my favorite people on Earth introduced me to Bestie Picks Bae, an addictingly terrible online teen dating show.
I immediately made a note to recreate it with my OCs.
This is it.
this is the first game i've put on the internet and i'm nervous, so i would appreciate it if you rated it and/or left a comment with any thoughts, comments or criticisms you might have about it!
FEATURES
- Short routes (5-10 minutes) - but dynamically changing character interactions depending on who you eliminate, so if you want to be a completionist, you can spend a few hours finding all the interactions!

- The ability to name your character!
DISCLAIMER
At certain points, this game contains mild swearing and vaguely implied sexual themes. It's not NSFW at all, but if these topics make you uncomfortable for one reason or another, you might want to wait until other routes have been released.

this game looks really fun and i want to play it and it isn't working :( if it helps i have a Lenovo windows 10. i really want to play it so tried deleting it so i could download it again. it isn't deleting. tips on how to get the game to work or how to delete it so i can try re-downloading.
Just to put it out there, I was able to play this on my Acer laptop running Windows 10.

I also downloaded your "last ditch effort", it basically had the same problem.
Has there been any successful cases of anyone being able to download and play? If so, what kind of device were they using? Is there some type of limitations on what kind of device/system is compatible with the game? I'm using a laptop, windows, and it didn't work.
This looked super good, really sad I couldn't get it to play.
Argh, I'm so sorry! I know of at least 4 computers on which it works (5 including mine), and they include both desktops and laptops, all running Windows, so I have no idea why this is such a common problem. The only new idea I've had is that the ancient engine I used to make this might not recognize newer versions of directx? i tried to download with both of the options but everytime i do it it says that it isnt able to open it or i opend it and its just a bunch of text and im not sure if im doing something wrong...

It's asking for d3dx9_37.dll and fmodex.dll . I'm no computer guy so I have no idea what files those are
fmodex.dll is in the game folder and d3dx9_37.dll sounds like a directx thing! i have no idea why it's not recognizing them, though. is bestie picks baelf.exe in the same folder as the stuff it came with?
